Six years of experience in spam enforcement with OPTA and working at the national and international level on coöperation, with active contributions including policy changes in a multi stakeholder environment have made Wout a well-known person with a global network.
Wout has co-organized several international trainings for anti spam and privacy enforcement agencies and presented on the need for coöperation around the world. As chair of the Dutch Cyber Crime Network, several committees within the London Action Plan, the Cyber Crime Working Party at RIPE and as coördinator to the EU Contact Network of Spam Authorities he has served the international anti-spam and cyber crime community in several capacities.
Wout is a firm believer in public – private partnerships where the tackling of cyber crime is concerned. As such he is a bridge builder equipped with skills to bring people from a different background together and assist them in seeing eye to eye.
