De Natris Consult report on (inter)national cooperation

If you click on the link below you will find the report of De Natris Consult on “National cyber crime and online threats reporting centres. A study into national and international cooperation.”

The study is the result of a survey held in 13 countries among different national entities tasked with cyber security and preventing or enforcing different forms of online threats. The surveyed were questioned on (the level of) their participation in national centres (to be), the way data (i.e. complaints and intelligence) is gathered, analysed and shared by them and to the level in which they cooperate at the national and international level.

The report provides extensive insight into the answers, provides conclusions and leads to several recommendations that were in most instances provided for by the participants.

The report is owned by De Natris Consult, but sponsored by Microsoft’s Digital Crime Unit.

About Wout de Natris

As a consultant I specialise in establishing new and different relationships between industry, governments and law enforcement where internet safety and the fight against cyber crime are concerned. This makes me a bridge builder. Hence the blogs name. In this blog I intend to stress the need for interaction, cooperation and exchange of information in order to change the mentioned relationships. On offer: a comprehensive training on all non-technical aspects of spam enforcement and a cyber awareness presentation for companies and institutions
